Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Giving

At the heart of KCI is our commitment to contributing to the communities in which we live and work. This includes financial contributions to the community-based programmes that make a difference in people’s lives. Our efforts are focused on programmes that improve the health and well-being of people around the world as well as on programmes that improve children’s educational experience and encourage the development of future leaders.

Partnerships

Every day, KCI Medical Australia supplies innovative therapeutic medical devices such as V.A.C.® Therapy and Therapeutic Support Systems to help improve patients' quality of life.

We are committed to enhancing the lives of not only the customers we treat, but also of those in the community. KCI offers financial assistance to organisations supporting people in need, focusing on small to medium-sized charities focusing on child care, education and health care.

We are pleased to announce we have established a rewarding partnership with , the Australian Organisation for Young People Living with Cancer, by making a generous donation towards this organization.

More recently, we are pleased to announce that KCI Medical Australia is a proud supporter of Interplast Australia and New Zealand.  is a charity that provides teams of medical volunteers to undertake programmes of plastic and reconstructive surgery and training in neighbouring Asian Pacific Countries.

In 2008 Interplast Australia & New Zealand celebrated its 25th year of operation. In 25 years nearly 600 plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses from Australia and New Zealand have volunteered on over 400 programmes to 23 different countries. They have trained hundreds of overseas medical personnel, sponsored 65 to receive part of their training in Australia, conducted nearly 30,000 consultations and over 17,000 life changing operations.

We feel that corporate social responsibility is a key aspect of our business and are proud to be involved with the CanTeen and Interplast charities. Our involvement is underpinned by our values and we look forward to supporting these charities into the future.
