The Advantage Centre – Knowledge to Better Care
The Advantage Centre opened in July 2007 and in this time we have provided advanced theoretical and practical skills education to high level clinicians and hospital administrators from the public, private and community care settings. Over 1,000 clinicians are trained each year in the Advantage Centre.
KCI Medical, through The Advantage Centre and our in-field Clinical Support Educators (CSE’s) has worked closely with Medical and Surgical Registrars, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Education Managers, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists from various hospital networks on a national level to increase their skills in wound care and V.A.C.® Therapy.
The Advantage Centre also creates an environment for clinicians from various care settings to discuss clinical "best practice" and issues such as private insurance funding avenues, innovations in Advanced Wound Management and the latest research in wound practice.
Outside of the clinical arena, The Advantage Centre provides a strong educational focus to our Private Health Insurance groups to increase their knowledge and awareness of innovations and economical advancements in wound care technology.
Various educational programs are run throughout the year, for more information, please contact your local KCI Medical Representative on 1300 KCI VAC (524 822).
